XYZ Games – Update

Dear Parents,

It gives me immense joy to inform you that our first inter-group event – XYZ Games has received a participation of 32 teams. This event is hosted by the Daraius’ Daredevils group and the members and volunteers have made sure that everything is under control.

I would just like to give you some more information for the event on Sunday, 15th February 2015.

  1. BUS ROUTE
    Separate buses will reach the Group Venues at 8:00 am and will leave the pick up points to come to Cusrow Baug. All participants must meet their Group Volunteers, 10 minutes before the bus is stated to leave.

8:15am – Salsette Parsi Colony
8:20am – Bandra Tata Blocks
8:30am – Dadar Parsi Colony
8:30am – Wadia Baug, Parel
8:40am – Rustom Baug, Byculla
8:45am – Khareghat Colony, Huges Road

The participants of Daraius’ Daredevils Group must reach the Pavilion by 9:15am.

  1. REPORTING TIME
    All teams must report by 9:30am. If the child is coming to the venue directly (not in the bus provided) then the child must report to the Cusrow Baug Pavilion by 9:30am
  2. PARENT PER TEAM
    Every team has 1 parent participating. That parent must be present along with the team. There will be a briefing at 9:40am for the Parent that is participating.

  3. DRESS CODE
    Every Team Member must be dressed in:
    · the assigned group colour T–shirt
    · track pants or shorts (no jeans or skirts),
    · sneakers or shoes (NO Crocs / Sandals / Chappals / Floaters / Studs / Spikes)
    · P–cap and a snack for the bus journey

Group colours are as follows:

i) Darius’ Daredevils – Blue
ii) Cyrus’ Superstars – Yellow
iii) Jamshed’s Giants – Green
iv) Homai’s Heroes – Black
v) Behram’s Battalion – Red
vi) Rustom’s Rockstars – Grey
vii) Tehmurasp’s Titans – Orange

All parents participating and accompanying the children can also wear their team colours.

  1. TEAM PICTURE
    Please make sure that the team picture is taken as soon as the group is registered.
  2. LUNCH & EVENING SNACK
    Lunch and an Evening Snack will be provided to all participants.

  3. BAG FOR PARTICIPANTS
    All participants must carry a small bag with a Water Bottle, P-Cap and a snack for the morning journey. Please make sure that the child’s name is written on the bag / bottle / cap so that it does not get misplaced. THERE IS NO NEED FOR PARTICIPANTS TO CARRY ANY VALUABLES FOR THE EVENT.

  4. END TIME
    The event is scheduled to end by 5pm and the buses will then bring the kids back to their respective drop off points.

  5. KEEP VOLUNTEERS INFORMED
    If the participant is not joining the bus, please do inform the volunteers.
    If any participant is not able to make it for the event, a replacement has to be found. If not, the entire team will be disqualified.

  6. CERTIFICATES & PRIZES
    All participants will receive a participation certificate at the end of the event.
    The winners and runners up teams will receive prizes and trophies as well during the Prize Distribution.
